School Practices Program organized of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science
TPP AES Galabovo participates in the School Practices Program organized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science and funded by the EU Human Resources Operational Program and co-funded by the European Social Fund. For second consecutive year TPP AES Galabovo has opened internship vacancies for students from the Professional School of Energy and Electrical Engineering in Galabovo. Last November we selected eight students to have their practice classes in different technological departments in the plant. All of them spent 240 hours under the supervision of the best energy specialists in the country between November 2013 and June 2014.
They believe that vocational training has an amazing impact on the students’ professional skills and can not be achieved in the school environment. Therefore this internship program became part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program aiming to encourage talents and professional growth of young people in the region, to stimulate their curiosity and skills and foster their confidence of full-fledged citizens.
Selection Process
Beginning of October TPP AES Galabovo announces a selection procedure, the number of trainees and the type of specialists needed. The candidates should send a CV and a motivation letter in Bulgarian or English. Their documents are reviewed by representatives of AES Galabovo who take into consideration the documents submitted and the students’ personal achievements from the previous school year. Selected candidates are then invited for an interview with a committee, headed by the AES Galabovo Human Resources Manager.
