IBM’s Kickstart Internship Program will give you the skills and practical, on-the-job experience you need to take your career to the next level. Not only will you be gaining real world experience on work that is genuinely changing the way the planet lives, works and plays, you’ll also be building an invaluable business network to leverage later. Most importantly, you’ll get a sense of IBM’s culture and values –and start to see the career you would like to shape. The relationships you make, and the impression you leave can help you secure a permanent position with us when you graduate.
The Kickstart Internship offers full-time employment for a 6 or 12 month duration across our business units, with successful students selected based on current university performance, aptitude and potential.
Start your first day in IBM in an engaging intern orientation where you’ll meet your peers and get to understand IBM’s businesses.
You’ll receive a monthly newsletter to keep you up-to-date with important news in IBM and updates on your Kickstart Program.
Lunch and Learn workshops
You will be invited to workshops that give you extra opportunities to develop skills and learn more about IBM over lunch. Grab the opportunity to learn a new skill and network with your peers.
