An exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most dynamic, full-service banks in the industry. As an Audit Services intern you will play a key support role in helping SunTrust’s senior management identify risks and opportunities within our control processes. This up to 20-week training program includes extensive on-the-job training and ongoing opportunities to gain practical experience applying your analytical skills.
Detailed below is a list of job responsibilities that an intern could aid in the achievement of the Professional Practices and Reporting & Technology Group’s annual goals and objectives.
Reporting & Technology/Archer System Future Developments
- Assist core team in documenting data requirements
- Assist core team in preparing and executing test scripts
- Assist in providing end user support
- Assist in maintaining SharePoint
- Reconcile databases
Quality Control/Quality Assurance
- Assist in pulling quarterly Quality Control data reports from QlikView and analyze/massage data for QC trends
- Assist in compiling MAX Group surveys
- Assist in drafting Methodology Mondays
- Update quarterly PPG Summary slide deck
Knowledge & Skills/Training
• Assist in Training Prep
o Tracking training participants attendance
o Administrative tasks (e.g. printing, surveys, issue CPE credits)
o Training icebreakers/games
• Assist in issuing CPE credits for internal trainings in accordance with NASBA
• Assist with quarterly Mentor Program analysis/slide deck preparation
• Assist with SAS Capability Assessment
o Sending assessment, data collection, analysis/slide deck preparation
Miscellaneous SAS/PPG Related Tasks
• Assist in updating templates and/or procedures
• Assist in pulling data from Qlikview for Quarterly Segment Head reporting templates
• Assist with Team & Client Surveys
o Sending surveys, data collection, analysis/slide deck preparation
Qualifications
• BA/BS or Master’s degree students or recent graduates
(accounting, finance, information technology and/or
information systems audit and control concentrations
preferred)
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong client service and analytical aptitude, with solid interest
in internal audit, accounting and/or finance
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Superior written and oral communication abilities
• A great opportunity to be considered for a full-time career
