We are looking for a motivated, talented individual interested in a role with significant growth opportunity to join our organization as a Financial Leadership Development Program Intern for Spring 2018 at our World Headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.

This program is designed to prepare and identify candidates for our full-time positions in the Financial Leadership Development Program. Ultimately, the Financial Leadership Development Program is designed to prepare individuals for leadership roles in accounting and finance at O-I. In order to achieve maximum personal growth and professional exposure through your internship experience, you will rotate through areas including: Internal Audit, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Global Tax, and our North American Division. Regardless of where you start, you are sure to find challenge and opportunity.

Financial roles at O-I offer tremendous variety and growth opportunities. Our interview and assessment process allows us to identify the best path to get you started based on your educational background, previous experience, personal interests and our needs. The process also allows you to learn about the interdependencies among the various financial roles at O-I, and helps you identify where in the organization you would like to contribute.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a business degree with an Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Management major.
  • A strong GPA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in other software programs and/or
  • ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
  • A record of achievement. We want to see what you’ve accomplished. Show us examples from school, work or extra-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments to meet objectives.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
