Job Description
We are looking to bring onboard a Supply Chain Intern for a six-month internship to join our team in Grottaglie.
The Supply Chain Analyst applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.
Supporting the team in all its duties, the intern:
- Analyzes material requirements and dispositions excess inventories.
- Applies SCM methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.
- Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
- Understands part number attributes and usage on product.
- Develops and controls inventory plans.
- Develops and creates schedules for products and services.
- Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
- Ensures on-time delivery.
- Works with the Supplier Management business groups, material management team and Procurement teams to ensure on time deliveries, provide status to program and operation teams.
- Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.
- Introduces new SCM tools and techniques by working with complex processes and organizational relationships to improve the supply chain being able to analyze complicated data.
- Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
- Reports schedule adherence issues.
- Knows and understands complex processes and procedures.
- Works under general direction.
A required qualification is a bachelor degree in Management Engineering or Business Economics.
The knowledge of supply chain techniques/strategies would be an ideal requirement.
Flexibility to work on different statement of works or activities within supply chain.
