Our Program at a Glance

The SAP is designed to give participants an inside look into what it’s like to work for a competitive, global financial services organization. With projects specifically chosen to both challenge and provide growth opportunities, summer analysts will gain valuable real-world experience working in these different functional areas as well as learning to work together as a collabora¬tive team. In addition to being a part of the SAP, summer analysts participate in robust, structured programming focused on BNY Mellon’s company culture, professional development, community outreach, networking, mentoring and more. This program includes:

  • Robust onboarding and skills training, including a start-to-finish mentoring program
  • Highly-visible networking opportunities with other summer analysts, senior leaders and executives
  • Hands-on, self-paced opportunities to learn about different areas of the business and professional development
  • Meaningful work assignments that can lead to a returning internship or full-time opportunities with BNY Mellon including the Emerging Leaders Program, a premier, high impact rotation opportunity for a small, select group of recent college graduates.

Potential Summer Analyst Program Locations

U.S. LOCATIONS: Pittsburgh, PA; Jersey City, NJ; Boston, MA; Lake Mary, FL; New York, NY

EMEA LOCATIONS: London, England; Manchester, England; Dublin, Ireland.

  • Business Partner Groups: Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Risk & Compliance
  • Investment Management: Asset Management, Wealth Management
  • Investment Services: Client Service Delivery, Business Service Delivery, Relationship Management

What Do We Look For?

Program Eligibility:

  • be enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate (U.S.) or full-time undergraduate degree (UK) program
  • have a class status of rising junior or senior in the U.S.; 2 years left of study or penultimate year students in the UK
  • be willing to relocate
  • not require sponsorship for employment visa status in the region where they apply

All candidates with a recommended minimum of 3.2 GPA (U.S.) or a 2:1 (UK or local equivalent) are encouraged to apply.
