Anytime Fitness Internship Program

Anytime Fitness is a health club that countless members call their second home. Our mission as a
brand is to raise the self-esteem of the world. The members within our club our family and many
of them work with a coach to guide them on their fitness journey. Our internship program hires 2
of the region’s most passionate and committed individuals interested in gaining the knowledge
and experience to develop themselves and inspire others.

This internship is for individuals looking to enter the fitness industry as Personal Trainers or
Personal Training Managers. Under the direct supervision and guidance of our lead trainers and
managers you will have the opportunity to observe and learn how to coach a very diverse group
of people. Furthermore, you will leave this internship with the knowledge and ability to
immediately begin training and coaching at a high level.

Although, our internship program only hires three times a year (January, May, and August,) we
are always accepting resumes and inquiries. In addition, the Anytime Fitness internship program
is very comprehensive and exposes you to many areas in the fitness industry.

Below are some of the highlights that you will experience during your internship:

Total of 250+ hours of instruction with the Anytime Fitness personal training curriculum in
addition to administrative and marketing strategies in a 16-week internship that includes:

  • Team Training (2-10 people)
  • Private Training
  • Introduction to the Functional Movement Screening
  • Introduction to the NASM OPT Model
  • Overall understanding of a basic dynamic warm-up, corrective exercise, and self-myofascial release
  • Proper guidance towards attaining the right certifications and continuing education
  • A 16-week course that includes reading, writing, and video reviews
  • Weekly hands-on learning
  • Development of phone and communication skills
  • Development of sales skills

The Anytime Fitness internship will require a minimum of 16 hours a week, including a
mandatory 30-minute weekly meeting. Standout performers in this program may be considered
